I see the adverts for Father's Day at least a month before the big day but I always manage to leave it to the last minute before rushing around the shops with the kids eventually settling on yet another mug and a pair of socks.  This year is different.  Thanks to Instagram I came across this little gem of a shop Lovely Ink. Founder Emma is an illustrator and mum of two who creates personalised  brush letter art prints.

Spring brings the promise of long sunny days and balmy light filled evenings.  Actually that could be summer but here in the UK the two often merge into one and I find there is nothing more uplifting than being able to put on a sundress and a pair of sandals after the long, grey winter.
